Read on for all the information you need about attending the Anzac Weekend Airshow.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a No Smoking, No Dogs, and No Alcohol event.

  • Dates and Times

    The ANZAC Weekend Airshow will take place on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 April, 2024, and will run from 10am to 4pm both days.

    In addition to the air display, live music, fashion show, food vans and regional displays and exhibits will be available throughout the day.

  • Getting to the Event

    You can access the event by car, motorbike, bus, or plane!

    West Sale Airport is 10km from Sale in Gippsland, Victoria and is 2.5 hours drive from Melbourne via the Princes Highway. Rail services run from Melbourne regularly.

    Flying In and Camping

    There is no charge for aircraft flying in or staying overnight. All non-display visitors will require a ticket to enter the Airshow.

    Day visitors will be able to park at the apron in the short term display park. Overnight visitors will need to register to secure a spot in the campsite.

    Aircraft will not be able to fly in or out during the airshow program from 9.30am to 3.30pm Saturday and Sunday, so plan your arrival and departure accordingly.

    The campsite is located approximately 50 metres from the overnight aircraft parking area. Toilets, showers and limited food and cooking facilities are offered at the site. For more info, please email info@saleairshow.com.au.

    Tickets are available for sale now or on the day at the gate. Numbers will be strictly limited, so purchase now to avoid disappointment.

    All airshow tickets include entry to the Gippsland Armed Forces Museum

    We are looking for volunteers to join our team and help to deliver an amazing airshow. Not only is this great for your resume but you will be able to get behind the scenes and witness the action first hand.

    You can also raise funds for your club or charity.
